Drama League Awards, luncheon held at Marriott Marquis Ballroom, May 18, selects winners beforehand from both Broadway and Off Broadway where, after a grand reception, they are marched in and all feted onstage and allowed to speak. An elegant affair.

Drama
Desk Awards, Town Hall June 3rd with post party at Liberty Theater,
combines Broadway and Off Broadway in same category. Run like the Tony’s, all nominees are invited to the theater and the suspense is created as they are announced, then given brief speech time. Exciting!
