Kismet Fire Department Takes Center Stage
By Jeannie, photos by Gary & Jeannie

Never before has our Fire Department been so much on our minds with the sudden loss of our Fire Chief Thomas R. Sitone and the emergency beach call reflecting the constant danger of losing loved ones. Buit Kismet is a party town and the return of the Annual Installation Dinner to terra firma allowed for more guests and friend and a heartier party atmosphere,
The day started with mouth-to-mouth CPR instruction in the AM (John Altieri was so into it he made a date with his dummy for Saturday night)

…to feeding mouths at their Annual Installation Dinner. Gary said he could tell it was a great party because the streets were deserted next morning.

Dom made Kismet history with the fastest ride through the ranks in 3 years since first joining as rookie - of  course it helps that he's a real pro (FDNY).

After his tribute to Tom  former 1st Assistant Chief, Dom Bertucci was sworn in as Chief, with Buddy becoming 1st Assistant, Mugsy 2nd Assistant and Cody Baker coming on as 3rd Assistant.   Art Weinstein and Joan McKeehan remain Secretary and Treasurer. Amy & Sam gave Don a fire chief bicycle siren

And now a few words from Buddy

And more from Artie & Joani

Do you have your tickets?

Gary & Guys?????

That’s better!

Wait a minute…….

That’s better
