Hey everyone!

Last year's KGB was far more competitive, creative and fun compared to the year before, and we continued with the 18 plus entries (that's times 5!), and we even had two vegetarians break their non-meaty vows.  But, this year, things are going to be a little different.

RULES
This year, like last year, while the party starts at 5, all burgers must be on the table by 5:30, with absolutely no exceptions!

Due to the mass number of burgers involved, you must grill your own at your house (BVTers of course you know the deal).

This year, you will have to make five (this may change to six depending on the response) of your burgers, provide your own buns, and your burgers must be cut into 4ths so people consume bits-o-burger, not the entire thing.

THE CHANGE IN RULES
This year, it's the KGB...SURPRISE! That is, blind taste testing.  What this means is:

1. You MUST hand your burgers to someone in the kitchen (already cut up), and you ARE NOT allowed to enter. Your burgers will not be altered, although the 4ths will be separated, so please TOOTHPICK them if you can.  You'll have to trust that we won't turn your brilliant creations into sludge.

2. Please draft up a fun poster or something listing your ingredients, create a special cocktail if you want, but your poor lil burger will be out there on its own, left to tempt the taste buds of the judges without visual aid (except the burger itself, of course).

Now, what is going to happen inside the kitchen so that we can account for all of the burgers, well, leave that up to the organizers.

VARIETY
All burger types welcome.

JUDGING
The audience (200 people last year). How to judge will be explained day of.

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and the Mad Cow award for the burger you'd prefer to vomit than chew through.

DISCLAIMER
I cannot guarantee there will not be any cold issues.  That will be half the challenge, but again, ALL BURGERS MUST BE READY FOR CONSUMPTION AND ON BVT'S KITCHEN TABLE BY 5:30!!!  Eating should start shortly after that.

Good luck!
The KGB
