7TH ANNUAL KISMET BURGER COOKOFF
The 7th annual Kismet Burger Cookoff was the largest yet, both
in attendees and contestants. There were 11 beef burgers 4 lamb burgers, but
nobody entered the meatless category this year. The winner with his
"Verboten Burger" was Frank Ribbioni he rents "Forbidden
City" his burger was a blend of different cuts of beef and bacon,
cooked in butter, melted together with two kinds of cheese, on a brioche style
bun. And as good as that sounds the competition was fierce. There were 5-6
other burgers that wowed the hungry crowd of nearly 100
"Judges". The usual silly prizes were awarded messiest burger,
bad breath burger, prettiest. It seems that even with all the rebuilding we are
doing in Kismet, we all still had enough time to have some fun and good food on
the beach together
