Kentucky Derby Chapeaux in Kismet
My Worlds Collide!
Is it me or is Memorial Day weekend a week early???
I am still in the Theater world enjoying a spectacular climax after the most extraordinary season in its history. I have seen a show a night since mid March and only just finished my committed play going this past Thursday as a voting member of the Drama League, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle.
And now reaping the reward of my efforts at a whirlwind of Awards Galas: Drama League last week, Outer Critics Circle yesterday, Drama Desk and Theater World next week, Tonys on the horizon.
Thus distracted I offer you a preview of our great first issue in the works: The President´s somewhat coerced but nevertheless forthcoming endorsement of Same Sex marriage. The Pines failure to reconstruct the area of the Pavilion after its devastating post season fire still finds the property barren despite emphatic promises it would all be up and ready by Memorial Day weekend. Ocean Beach banned their tradition Pub Crawl, the Fire Island Ferries attempt to add a surcharge to our fares.
I welcome our newest advertiser:
